50 rounds of 500 Linebaugh, popgun stuff - 9.0 grs. Trail Boss behind some 420 gr. cast bullets. Checked my .41 caliber inventory to make certain I'm prepared for the arrival of latest acquisition.

I loaded about 400 of Dicks red bullets in the 9mm. My load for the 125 gr. bullet is 4.0 gr of Universal and shoots really nice. My load for the 147gr bullet with 3.3 gr. universal but seemed a little light. The empties just dribble out of the gun. It's the max load in the Hodgdon book. Might have to look for another powder to make minor. But first need to shoot it over a chronograph. I only shoot it in my M&P as soon as my Kimber get back from the factory I will shoot the loads threw it. I'm impress with the bullets both very accurate loads.

More of Dick's "lipstick" bullets here too - red shake-n-bake 250 gr. WFN 41 mag with a full case of W296. Preliminary results look promising - testing continues...

Just in from the bench. Loaded 400 rounds of 45 ACP. 200 for Saturday's match and 200 for getting ready for it. Loaded 100 roounds of 38 Super too... If they shoot good I may load another 100 and use it in the centerfire match instead of the 45.

I helped a friend get his deceased dad's reloading bench set up for 45 Colt. Loaned him my 45 Colt RCBS dies so he can start working up loads for his deer hunt this fall. I showed him the process on the Rockchucker, got his powder measure and scale set up and then loaded 3 rounds just to shoot so he could see them go bang. The 255 swc's and Unique should get him there.
His dad left behind a bunch of old Hercules Bullseye, Unique and 2400, some of it in the old steel cans. And about 7 pounds of Win 452AA, among others... surplus 4831, AL7, and Dupont and Hodgdon rifle powders in the old cans.

How do you like that tin star? I've heard some good things, but I've never seen it for sale.
