41 magnum 225 rnfp hi-tek coated from Missouri bullet over 6.6 of 700x. Makes a nice paper puncher. It's comfortable to shoot for long periods.

Yes sir went to it years ago from a Lee, the Lee was good but didn't have enough room for certain dies and not made as well as the rcbs or my other Lee what ever model that's like a tank. All single stage though, I shoot so many different calibers I don't need a 1000 for each at a time so no real need for progressive loader unless I competition shot still.

Fifty rounds of 44 with a Nosler JHP over 20.5gr of 2400. It showed promise of accuracy last weekend, so I'll try some more! Took me forever to decide what to make!

Just seated my first 385grĀ 480 HP's here. These the PC'd bullets from a Miha mold, per Dick and Hoover-san. My scale says they weigh 394grs as is. Also first try of Longshot powder. Erring on the side of caution, I think, the first charge weight is 10grs.. Seated them to the lower cannelure too. Test shots in a few, 50 and drizzle here now, yuck, but in the name of terminalĀ ballistics, must move forward.. Did you get out to try these? I tested some over the weekend with 15 grains of Blue Dot. They ran 1161 fps for a 6-shot string, had a fairly low extreme spread of 33 fps. I was going for 1050 - 1100 fps, but this shows promise so I'll load more and shoot for group size next.

I've never shot anything but HBWCs in my Clark PPC Revolver, but I tried some Hornady 158 gr. RNL bullets today. HOLY COW! I think I'm going to need more! Six shots at 25 yards (one is a double!) For a 60 year old geezer who wears bifocals, I'm pretty pleased! Bullet: Hornady 158 gr. RNL Powder: Winchester 231 4.0 grs. Primer: Winchester Small Pistol Case: Remington Wadcutter LOAL: 1.540 Comments: Brass prepped with .357 Carbide Die and Lyman M-Die Expander. I seated the bullets to the same OAL as Federal's 158 gr. RNL factory load (their bullet looks A LOT like the Hornady version)

Dougader, I did shoot one group from an improvised rest here, was so-so. Would say load shows promise and more likely I wasn't doing my part well. The next time I shot them I was just whacking the steels for therapy. Been working OT since and haven't got to shoot them since.

Recently been on a full wadcutter kick. Bought 2,000 38 DEWC from Rimrock Bullets on a 2 for 1 sale they were having. Also purchased 200 200grain 44 Wadcutters from Matt's.
Loading 38 Spl today! The wadcutters and a load of 231 to push them downrange!

I was looking at my load records and for some reason I'd never tried 231 after the conversion. I need to see how it works with wadcutters too!
