Today, I loaded around 700 45lc, 250 rnfp rounds on my H LNL. Then the press jammed and I sheared off the left pawl. Considering that I've assembled around 91,000 rounds in the last 3 1/2 years, I can't complain. --Nashtn-- I couldn't wait for the pawl to arrive, so I broke out the RockChucker! Just as good, but a bit slower

Used my little Sherline lathe to turn a small spacer for my 44spl case flaring die. These are 44mag dies, and when used in a Hornady press with LnL bushings, the die can't be screwed in far enough to flare the 44 spl case mouths. The spacer keeps the expander sleeve in the die from moving, so I can gain some room for adjustment. Oh, and I found a pound of HP38 today!

Got out to the range today (beautiful weather!) to test some loads in my 7mm Remington Magnum. Had to seat deeper than recommended by the Nosler #7 but luckily Hodgdon has data for this seating dept. Plenty of velocity but still needs a little more tinkering... Yeah, it's a bit much to lug around in the woods - stand shooting only! My Beanfield Rifle! Bullet: Nosler 150 gr. Partition Powder: IMR 7828 65.0 grs. Primer: Federal 215 Case: Winchester (2nd Firing) LOAL: 3.270 (2.744 Base to Ogive with Stoney Point) Velocity: 3029.70 fps ES: 38.75 SD: 14.59 Comments: Jam length 2.749 Base to Ogive with Stoney Point. Bullets seated for 0.005 bullet jump to lands.

I thought this would be an entertaining way to list loads and share with everyone what we've been up to at the bench! -50 rounds of .44 Mag: 300 grain Cast Performance WFN GC over 21.5 grains of H110 -50 rounds of .44 Mag: 300 grain Cast Performance WFN GC over 18 grains of Enforcer -10 rounds of .375 H&H Mag: 250 grain TTSX over 78.5 (max!) grains of RL15 -10 rounds of .375 H&H Mag: 250 grain TTSX over 60 grains of 8208XBR -10 rounds of .375 H&H Mag: 260 grain Accubond over 80 grains of IMR 4831 -10 rounds of .375 H&H Mag: 260 grain Accubond over 80 grains of RL 19 -10 rounds of .375 H&H Mag: 250 grain TTSX over 70 grains of TAC Doing some load development for the .375 and putting together a stash of heavy cast loads for a few wheel guns. -John I've had several .375 H&H's and shot them more than any other centerfire rifle cartridge over the past 20 years or so. For your .375 try a Federal Large Rifle Magnum Primer, Winchester brass, and just about any conventional 300 gr bullet over a full charge of IMR 4350 (the most accurate one is now in excess of all the current manuals so I reduced it a few years ago and won't mention it, look it up!). That load works well in most .375's and a .375 won't shoot well with that recipe, you should trade it for another .375. Also no need for any bullet weight other than 300 grains.

They look a little strange but I've been trying coated bullets in my 45 ACPs, 38 Super and 9mm. No leading, no burnt wiring smell, and less smoke than regular lube bullets. Bullet: Blue Bullets 200 gr. RNFP Powder: VV N-310 3.9 grs. Primer: Federal 150 Case: Winchester LOAL: 1.190 And some 9mm caliber loads...
