Going to put together some .327 Federal loads with H110, HS6 and Unique. So far this little 6...err 7 shooter seems to sling them well! I just found some HS6 in stock and I'm like a kid in a candy store with the opportunities that are now available with this powder.

100 rounds of 38 WCF. 50 with 6.5 grs Green Dot behind a 195 gr. cast RNFP and 5.5 grs Trail Boss behind a 180 gr. cast RNFP. Have 5 different revolvers in this caliber, four Rugers and one USFA. Great caliber.

I'll post pics when I can catch my 16 year old son still long enough to do it for his computer idiot dad. The gun is about as plain as it gets but it will more than satisfy my needs. It's a blue 4 3/4 barrel, with factory Ruger rear sight , ramp front, with John Linebaugh massaged factory stocks.

Yup! Hopefully by the first of the year, but shouldn't hijack the thread any further...
What's your load recipe?

There are three different loads in that box of 50. They are all loads that John sent along with the gun. I don't much like putting data on the web,so I'll just say they start with a wimpy Trailboss load behind a 385gr wbw bullet, an HS6 load with a 440gr GC bullet, and the same 440 ahead of 2400. A sort of mild to the middle progression to start with. I'll play with H110 and 296 later. John is still pretty backed up, but keep the faith, he will get er done. So as not to clutter up this thread, I'll post pics in the Gallery section later.

Well I haven't loaded anything for a couple weeks since I did up some 38's for my 1920's vintage S&W Hand Ejector. But yesterday I did find some sp primers at our local camo box store which was nice. It's always good to add to the hoard. Gotta git whilst the gitten's good! Oh, and I managed to get some of these guys out of Padens custom 450gr mould for his new 500L And at some point mine as well when it shows up. Supposed to be any time now. Last month JG said end of October....hmmmm I hope he meant this October

The time saving magic of multiple loaders. Loaded 100 rounds of 45 ACP and 100 rounds of 38 Super for my weekly pocket pool shooting in less than the time it would have take to convert one of the loaders to another caliber. Used that saved time to put together 20 rounds of 414 for Alan Harton to do the front sight on my new DW 414. Put together 20 rounds for a 32-40 Ballard too..

50 rounds 480 Ruger w/ a 375gr. magma LRNFP with a helping of 296. I think it's close to what Sixshot whacks elk with.
