Max ..... Jack did a superb modification matching the Python barrel to the S&W K frame. It looks like they belong together. That's really a "super" nice piece.

I just got back from Jack's place, It's even prettier in person! The really neat thing is, Jack is building 3 more of them in all different barrel lengths for the customer. Someone is gonna have a nice "set" of Smolts/Smythons

Finer than frog hair! I wouldn't hesitate to use Jack for a project that required welding. Or anything else for that matter.

I'm gonna ask a dumb question.... While the look of a python barrel on a smith revolver is gorgeous with a vent rib will the colt lettering be deleted?

I know the gun isn't done yet, nor are the other three in the set, so I assume it will be removed, but I am not sure that the customer wants it removed.

Artistry from Huntington. The Model 19 is a classic among Smith & Wessons, and the original barrel a thing of beauty. Thus, it takes great skill to implement this swap without degrading the S&W aesthetic. I would caution Jack Huntington to leave the Colt logo and rollmarks intact, as these constitute a signature of of this piece. David Bradshaw

I remember when the first ones were done, they really look great. I did not know Jack was doing any - really great work.
