though I would post a few pictures on my .44 Accusport. John Gallager did the work on the gun. Action job/basepin,remove scrollwork and warning. John does nice work. This is the first gun I sent to him but not the last. The action is very nice. The grips are mequite burl by Scott Kolar. They are awesome. The pictures do not do them justice!!! Very nice in person.

Wow. As with all of Scott's work, the grips look great. Have you had a chance to shoot it yet? -Lee www.singleactions.com

Amazing how good it looks without all that scribbling on the barrel and cylinder.

I had the work done back in the spring and sent the grip frame out as soon as it came back so I had not shot it until yesterday. It shoots really good with a 250 Keith/9.0 grains of unique. Also shot my 240 XTP reload. Not sure which I will use for hunting this fall yet. I also have a bunch of 300 grain XTP's I want to try. I do need the get a new front sight. Once I decide on a height I will get a patridge style blade.

That looks great Woody. I really like the look of the burl mesquite on a stainless gun. Scott does great work and I really like what I've had done with John in Alabama also. They are both great guys to talk with also, can't beat that.....Thanks for sharing..GS By the way, the only thing you need to finish that sixgun off with is to catch up with Sixshot and see if he still has any of the front blades that he and his son made. He thinned them out a little, probably about 10 thousandths if I remember correctly and they look good on the Accusport guns and work GREAT! Here is the one on my 41 AS, as you can see, I need the Bowen rear to finish mine just not something that I ever think about unfortunately. Thanks again...

Gun came together real nice. When you get ready for the new front sight, I recommend you give Dave Cements a call. He made me this sight for my SBH. Bill

Hay Glen, are those holly grips? They look great with the stainless gun. Bill

I never thought that a light colored wood would look good on a stainless gun. Everyone always used dark wood or black micarta. My opinion changed the first time I saw a set of curly maples on a stainless sixgun. Scott Kolar is amazing. That is a great looking piece. I think the post front sight is the only way to fly, after you wipe the leather dust off. ;D BB

Woody, I was wondering if it was. You were telling me about doing something like this with this gun. Good to hear it turned out as you planned.
