I have a RockChucker that I have been using for over 30 years. I still load all my rifle ammo and my low volume handgun ammo on it. I use two Dillon 550's for all the high volume handgun stuff. Two? Yes, I'm lazy. I leave one set up for small primers, one for large, and never need to change priming systems. I like Dillon's dies on the progressives, Redding's rifle dies are second to none, but I own 15 or 20 sets of RCBS dies that have served well for a long time. I replaced an RCBS powder measure with a Redding because repeat adjustments were easier (for me.) I have used a Lyman case trimmer for many, many years; first in its' manual rendition then a powered one. As I have gotten older I find a set of digital calipers much easier to read. And I have worn out about a half dozen of those little Lee Auto-Prime hand primers - they still allow some of the best "feel" when seating primers for the money. A Dillon electronic scale replaced the original RCBS beam scale several years ago. I could go on and on, but I guess this covers the generalities........

When I asked the rcbs vs. hornady question years ago the best answer I got was "will green or red better match the decor in your reloading room?"
For all intensive purposes those two single's are about the same. I liked green better, no complaints.
I too use the hornady quick change bushings on my rcbs, worth their weight in gold if you ask me.

One other thing. I've had occasion (more than my fair share) to use RCBS and Dillon customer service -- they are both absolutely the best.
FWIW,
Paul
