I THINK YOU SHOULD GET YOUR EGO UNDER CONTROL and think about this. I have waaaaaaaaay over 40,000 rounds through Uberti sixguns and they've worked just fine thank you very much !! DO you actually believe Doug Turnbull would jeopardize his excellent reputation by using junk parts or frames in his guns !! GET REAL !!!

Thats a fine looking revolver. Reminds me of some of the sight assemblies played with on Sedgely NO. Colts........ I believe Houchins did alot of them

Since it's an Uberti, I'll give you $400 for it!

My recollection is that these guns offered by Turnbull were not built on USFA frames but on Ubertis I remember getting the initial e-mail from Turnbull on these guns and the price looked too good to be USFA . Somehow I found out they were Ubetis . After reading this thread, I did a Google search for Turnbull Buntlines and found lots of review articles about them . Few if any mentioned that they were Ubertis and one even described how Turnbull had ordered the frames from Colt . Who is that girl in the TV ads who says, 'they can't put anything on the internet unless it's true " ?

It's not really that complicated and I guess I did leave out some important info. First off this is one of the buntline guns Doug Turnbull was doing off some of the last USFA guns he had. They offered them for quite a while and got poor response. I was told I got one of the last ones. I got a wild hair after reading John T's article on buntlines and saw that there were in fact 10" guns built originally by Colt. After that I PM'd him and we went back and forth a few times. He indicated that he had in fact ordered a couple with 10" barrels. That was about all it took cause I figure he might just know a thing or 2. I ordered the gun about 6 months ago and it finally came. It's been done a while but it got done waaaay ahead of schedule and I needed to get my ducks in a row. Turnbull was great about working with me. Unfortunately I think I may have to let it go...Gov. deal got me a little uneasy.... if you do let it go, give us a heads up. that is an awesome pistol.

Cable, you're cool. I'd love to have that sixgun, but I just can't swing it right now.

I think a lot of us are in the same boat...wish I had the money right now to pull the trigger on it...just dropped some serious $$ on a new gunsafe, and when I showed my wife the thread, she said "Don't even think about it "
