ISGW rear sight that Contender85 gave me arrived a few days ago... Mounted it on the 252 Varmint yesterday. While I put one of Ken O'Neill's front blades on it this gun is screaming for one of the FA sight hoods. Any of you guys tried the FA Silhouette Sight that is fully adjustable for width & height? My 32 mag FA 97 has one and I think this 252 needs one too...

Yessir, I have one on my .41 Mag Silhouette and one on my 97 Silhouette in .22LR. I like the ability to change the width in order to better match the rear sight notch and the amount of daylight you want. With my old eyes, I need a wider rear notch and corresponding wider front post.

I've used them on 97's in .22 and .32H&R. They're great on the range but obviously a problem if you intend to holster the gun to hunt with it. You could, of course, use what I call the "Gregg Richter pouch"- a pistol rug with a shoulder strap sewn to it and worn bandoleer style across the chest. Gregg and I have both used them for years when hunting with single-shot pistols.
