What is your most accurate revolver(s)? We talk a lot about acceptable accuracy, but we have all had a few standout examples. Please post up photos of the revolver as well!

A 9" barrel FA Mdl. 353 ( 83), which has on numerous occasions shown itself to be a 100 yd. 1 MOA revolver, although I'm very very seldom a 1 moa shooter anymore. Load is a 180 gr. XTP, 15 gr. 296, CCI 350's in once fired, trimmed brass.

Tough call.
Either a custom S&W PPC gun in 38spc, or FA M83 454C. At short ranges, going to tiniest groups, I'd reach for the .38.
Of course, the last time someone challenged my shooting, i reached for a box stock Ruger 22/45 and hit what i aimed at.
You should have posted this in the Gallery so everyone would have to post pictures!

Probably my most accurate, are both double actions... & both S&W's one older... one newer... just an old S&W 357 Magnum ( this is 3 times handed down, from a state champion law enforcement shooter originally... trigger breaks like glass... like a very, very thin glass rod ) my worked over S&W 610 now chambered for 10 mm magnum ( this gun had to go back to S&W 3 times, due to an unsafe headspace condition when bought new ( my local builder would not work on a new gun, that was not right to start with from the factory ) the 3rd time back, all for the same reason ( a short cylinder ) it went back through the area sales representative, with his note tagged to it... 3rd times a charm... a little work from my local smith ( sights & chambering for 10 Mag ) & it's a dream to shoot... I haven't had a factory trigger this good, ever... bottom gun in this picture...

I've had some mighty accurate revolvers, including several Freedom Arms, TLAs, and some real stand-out factory Rugers and S&Ws. However, the most accurate revolver I've owned to date is likely this Clements custom .44 Special. It is scary accurate - one ragged hole, not much bigger than caliber, at 25 yards.

8" HB Dan Wesson 357, but I use 38spl cases and a 175gr CB. I've made some shots with this revolver that I wouldn't believe if I hadn't been there.

I'm no photographer... I can't do these guns justice yet, but I'm practicing! If you're in the mood for a thread on accurate handguns, you might find this old thread interesting. singleactions.proboards.com/thread/9232/which-handguns-long-shot-wagerI've asked the same question on other forums, but i suspect there is no forum on the web more qualified to talk accurate handguns than this one!

Shooting off hand pretty much every revolver I own is more accurate than me:) I am the weakest link.

I shot silhouette back in the 80s and I still have my Dan Wesson .357 SM that shoots well and who doesn't like an accurate gun? I heard good things about the .460 S&W so I bought one hoping it would compare well with the DW. I loaded up a moderate load, mounted a scope to test groups, and got the scope on paper. I set up a target at 100 yards and here was the next 5 shots........ Okay, that was LUCK but I wanted to try some shots at 200 yards and I thought 2" high at 100 would be on paper at 200 with the velocity this thing has so I made some scope adjustments that I thought would get me there. Here was the next 5...... I am keeping this revolver!

This Huntington built .475 Linebaugh SRH was one of my most accurate that accounted for a whole boatload of game over the years. It would consistently shoot under an inch at 50 yards as long as I did my part. The best load was 26.5 grains of 296 under a 420 grain cast bullet. Seen here with Redfield rings holding an Ultradot 30 -- it actually destroyed those rings in fairly short order before I swicthed to Ruger 30 mm rings.
