Went to EBay and finally saw a set of grips for the KC .22, it took about three weeks to get them. Not sure of the wood, but " "]they are larger and checkered and finished extremely well.

I got a4” and it shot super high at 25 yards, 5-7 inches. I ordered a taller sight from Harrison, they also have a file your own patridge style that will fit.

Mine is a plinker target model but I like it! Where did you find the grips? Need some for mine. Thanks, Barbarosa

I have one in 45 Colt, the chamber is a bit large and my cases bulge quite a bit. You can really tell it came from the Marlin when resizing compared to my Ruger. My guess is Magnum pressures are just enough to split your case, probably nothing you can do other than cut an inch off the barrel and set it back with a tight chamber. Then there is the chance it may not cycle properly. I would just shoot it and enjoy.

Went up in the high Cascades trout fishing today and slipped-twisted-and fell in completely under water! A shout out to Simply Rugged Holsters for making a great holster that saved my Python! A few lumps and bruises but came out okay, took the side plate off of the Python blew it out lubed it and it’s clean as can be. Not as sure footed in my middle sixty’s but too stubborn to quit.

I recently purchased a 4”. Fit, finish and quality are all very good. Because of the CA drop test requirements the SA trigger has a little to be desired right off. Shoot it 500 rounds and do some dry fire and it will help some. There is a bit of a hump on the hammer that a knowledgeable person or Smith can hand stone but I wouldn’t be in a big hurry to do it until you break it in. If you get a chance to handle a new Anaconda you will be amazed! Maybe I got a special one but I love it also.
