You’d think the seller would be paying someone to take that atrocity.

I just love these basic, stout, little 9 shot .22 revolvers.

Just bought this Star Model BM 9mm for a super low price. Aside from the wear to the finish, gun locks up tight and everything function as it should. Will become the new P&C Ranch gun.

I have a Henry .22 mag rifle I really like. No, it is not made as well as a Marlin 39 or a Winchester lever gun, but it’s accurate and it works 100% of the time.

I’d prefer it in 40…….is it the same slide? The slides look identical to me side by side. Looks like a barrel change, recoil spring, and magazine would do it.

I have a 9mm FireStar. Real gun. I have three FIRESTARS. Two in Starvel nickel finish and one blued. All three are in .40 S&W. I EDC the blued one.

That is beautiful and I’m sure that one won’t be traded/sold off any time soon.

Just picked up this near mint Star 30M 9mm. These were extremely under rated, all steel guns.

A nice Hi Standard 9 shot .22 Sentinel and a Star Firestar in .40 S&W. Both for a bargain price.

Ok, I remember these well, as well as other Star handguns. I don't mean anything condescending but that just doesn't seem "old school" to me. How new can something be and yet be considered "old school?" It’s not old school like a single action army or a S&W 1917, but compared to most semi auto carry guns sold today, it’s old school. It’s all steel, not plastic, has an actual hammer, not striker fired, and it has some personality, not totally generic looking like so many.
