No idea on dogs thoughts since he hasn’t sent yet. As long as the SIL pays for it, I don’t care if she makes my brother in law sleep in it!🤣
Oh yes, definitely smells like wine when cutting it up!

You know you are in trouble when you get drug to a HUGE junk hunt sale and your wife's sister comes grab you and drags you to a booth and points at something and says "Can you make me one of those?" May I present to you a dog wine barrel bed Talk about a pain to build with the steel bands to cut then sand so there are no sharp edges. Now I have to use the other half of the barrel to make a second one just so I can sell it and get it out of the shop.

Not so sure about that Don. Old flat tops tend to go under the knife here so I have to show restraint until I decide its fate.

The first fluted bisley 41 I found traveled to Eastern TN and became a 5 1/2” perfected bisley with French walnut grips by Mr. Fishpaw. It later grew a longer cylinder before I sent it to a new home. I have a spare untouched 41 fluted bisley tucked away just in case I get the bug again.

Congratulations Bushog. Rem and Ashly move back to NM next month and he told me yesterday he drew rifle elk, archery antelope and archery Barbary sheep! May be in NM this fall tagging along.

Dealing with docs and WC in job injuries just adds mental pain to the physical pain!
Hope the meetings lets things move forward for you.

Someone else's base pin but that is ok, I'm sure I have one in the box, If not I know a couple guys that will have one. Pretty sure it is a MR3-DB and not a Qualite or S&G but we will see once it arrives.

When I was at Alan’s a couple weeks ago we made a set of one piece grips for my USFA he is working on. Alan spent a disportionate amount of time fitting the inner spacer to the inside of the backstrap. I mean apply Prussian blue, fit, see high spots and work that spot down then do it all over again. He even made sure the grain pattern of the spacer matched both grips just because that’s the way he does things.
