I can not get the 475 detail to load right side up no matter how many times I rotate and save in Photobucket!

I have a Leupold VX-III 1.5 to 5 that I will mount occasionally but I do like the idea of the rifle un-scoped. I may put the NECG sight on it and have the scope as an option.
It's really hard to appreciate how handy and trim the Number 1 is until you have played around with it. Already on the look out for another, either a 7x57 or a 300H&H.

Thanks Lee. I have about 150 pieces of once fired left over from previous 475. I think I'll be ok. I appreciate the gesture!

It's here! My lovely wife got it for me as a retirement gift after 31 years in the Navy. Unfortunately my transfer guy is not available.
I'll get the rifle on Tuesday. Pictures to follow. Extremely nice wood for a factory gun. Looking for brass but everyone is out of stock.
I anticipate a phone call to John Linebaugh to discuss load development for the rifle. I have a Ruger Bisley in his shop in line to be converted to 475 L as the second half of the retirement gift.
Part three is a trip to Cody for the seminar in the summer!
What a woman!

We lived there in the late 80s. I attended WSC and hunted and fished my way to mediocre grades. Like you, I don't have a skill that will allow me to go back. I retire from the Navy on 31 January. I will probably end up in Wyoming or Idaho.

Where we're the pictures taken? As spectacular as the 475. Reminds me of the Gunnison country.
