I'm so right handed can't hardly pick my nose left handed. Lazy eye on the left side so rifles don't work, but I can shoot off a rest left handed with my pistols. So your season ain't necessarily over unless you want it to be. Getting older and hurt both, stinks but where there is a will, there is a way.

Saw 3 in the store tonight. Two 4 in. models and a 6 in.. May not be hand fitted anymore but you couldn't tell it by the price tag, $2,000 for the 4 in and $2,200 for the 6 in. If someone just has to have one they have 3.

Today was a woods walking day with my son. The 22 Ruger single six got to go play, and my son had his Ruger 10-22. Several cans were assaulted. Several flocks of sandhill cranes were seen but they must have been lost, they were headed north.

For sure put a good brake on it. Haven't shot the 430 but have the 444 and a my 358 jdj. They are hard torqueing barrels . Keep your elbows away from anything hard and let it do its thing.

A belt and suspenders will make more sense to you as you age also. Hope you carry ear plugs with you also. Gotta protect the inside as well as the outside of those ears.

Well done! Glad to see your back with the .44. When we walk the Wild Lands it pays to be ready for anything. The rifle was just insurance ,just like you keep on your truck for the unexpected. The hat doesn't define the man, its another tool we use.

I was thinking some shooting maybe today too. I have shoveled a path from the back door to the outer edge of the patio and can shoot. We have 18" of snow and windchill temp is zero at the moment. If need be, the middle, upstairs window is kept screen free so that we can shoot from the house. Yes, i'm a redneck. That ain't redneck, that's common sense and a heated shooting hut, country style. Screen is off my wife's bathroom window, as the coons find out that snack on HER deer feeder.

Your day late and dollar short saga will end soon Dick. Slow and steady persistence, and good shooting will get it done . Hang in there.
