COR.... if this thing is barely recognizable as a firearm, and its purpose is to make quick money for a manufacturer that has lost its way----marketing to an audience unfamiliar with MUZZLE CONTROL and MARKSMANSHIP----surely it will attract unwanted attention. This is not a good thing.
When I get back to my home range, where I have a hand in safety protocol, I shall be on the lookout for such a sleazy instrument and, should I see one, watch to see how it's handled.
As MUZZLE CONTROL is the first and last rule of firearms handling, and governs all other safety, it alarms me to see a firearm which defies practical purpose.
The Peacemaker is mechanically less versatile than a New Model Ruger. Yet the practicality of the Peacemaker remains beyond question.
No such intrinsic usefulness underwrites the gizmo called "ZIP." Perhaps the allusion is to a "zip gun," a home made firearm which had some currency with street gangs in the 1950's notable for crudity and very often a hazard to fire.

Ah geeez....I'm glad I have a few USFA SA's in the safe. You'd need 2 of them Zip's.....one to crap on and one to cover it up with. ;D ;D ;D
