I feel your pain Axe. I watched my Newfy go from 150 to 110. He was 11. He saved me the pain of putting him down. I went out for a couple of hours, he was dead in his usual spot.

Rough time for our dogs. I just got a lymphoma diagnosis for our 6-year old that we just adopted from the shelter 6 months ago. Seeing an oncologist tomorrow, but the options sound limited. Fwiw she's otherwise healthy and happy, except for those golf balls where her lymph nodes should be.

"Cody" has been such an energetic dog, & we got really lucky with him... he was 2 ish when we adopted him... he was living in town, with a lady & her 2 daughters... had his own room, & couch, but no fenced yard, I don't think they knew how big he was going to get, or how he would shed ( must be a husky cross, as he has that deep undercoat that sheds out by the handful during the early summer... he took to us & the farm right away, & only ever went down to the neighbors once since he was here, & didn't kill anything that belonged ... he loved the farm, & no leashes or fences... I had hoped to get a 2nd dog for him to train, before he was gone, but looks like we aren't going to have the time

Eight shot 357 Redhawk snubbie caught my eye this morning.. May need it... Still stop and talk to Coco Puff and Chewbacca out in the front yard on a regular basis.. Coco made it to 17... Babba was gone at less than 6... They were some fine companions...

was so nice yesterday, that when I went home for lunch, I drove the convertible back to work... brutal day at work, but top down driving was so worth it on the way home... put the car away again, because the rain & a cold front coming in... today 40's & rain... actually heard the word "snow" in the forecast for Saturday night...
still trying to figure out how to get all the sticks picked up out of the yard... ice storm with 60 mph winds a couple weeks ago, put more small sticks in the yard, than I think I've ever seen... too much to rake... might have to break out the old lawn sweeper... wondering where I ever put that thing

Yup, worst year for debris in the yard after winter. I have two more sections to pick up before the whole yard will be mowable. Fastest growing sections have been picked up and been mowed once so far.

Friday? Shooting! Simply Rugged holster for the Birdshead SS arrived. Think I'll carry it on the range today. Loaded a few 32 S&W long wadcutters to play with.

Oh yeah...Trigger spring changed in 17hmr CZ 452. Five shots at 25 yards. Currently blaming the horizontal dispersion on parallax..

Four new guns this week. None had a wheel. I feel dirty.
Surplus Glock 22. M&P380 EZ. M&P22. 22/45 mk4.
Range review! The glock sucks. The 380 is Awesome and I recommend it to anyone that teaches. And 22's are always good.
