As other have said its all the one liner's and drivel posts that aren't needed. What I can't stand... what keeps me away from here a good deal of the time, as it did Sixgunner, is the deja vu post from certain people. The axe grinders and dead horse beaters. Those that feel the need to post the same tired stuff over and over and over again. No one much cared or was impressed the first six times... we sure as hell don't care now.

Cas I could not agree more. How many times does the same person have to post "look at what I just bought" etc. That wastes a lot of good space. When someone gets a new custom it's nice to see different custom jobs. It gives you ideas for your own future projects. But to post everything you buy is tiresome!!! Makes you wonder if these people have time to shoot at all. All the time posting and tasking pictures.
The board is starting to take a new direction is pushing some regulars away. I'm on here everyday but find my self only reading post by a handful of people anymore. The old regulars that have a wealth of knowledge. I do not like to see people personally attacked but I think the way 2dogs put his post is not any way like an attack. Just friendly advise that was needed. I hope no one thinks the same form my post.

I know I'm a problem poster. I delete a lot of posts before I hit submit cause I think" would anyone care" and the answer is no. I try to limit my posts to value added comments & questions. (Unlike this post) Most of my "info" is gleaned from the fabulous "interwebs" and not the real world, so it tends to not be the info that people are looking for. I ask a lot of questions, but its the only way I know to get answers. I got a camera and started posting pics so you guys wouldn't think I was just B.S. ing you. I didn't buy a Freedom Arms, and an Abilene to fit in, but it's because of you guys that I recognized the deals available. Hope nobody thinks this is a personal attack: Hey .510maximum, the safety on an FA 83 is between your ears..what are you trying to say?

Well, found some pics at this one and that one's and found some digital jobs too, so this at least proves my short rodeo career, although it is a picture of me falling off

But what I really want to know is: Is a 9mm big enough for bear protection?

But what I really want to know is: Is a 9mm big enough for bear protection? Yes... but the secret is, you have to shoot 'em from the inside.

Yes you can use a 9mm for defense against bear. The tactic is this. You smear bacon grease all over the 9mm and when the bear gets after you, you drop the 9mm and hopefully the bear will stop to lick said 9mm clean and give you a chance to run away. I would prefer to use the largest 9mm available. More gun more bacon grease.
