Trail Creek listed a Omni Snubnose yesterday. I noticed a few odd variations recently offered for sale leading me to believe USFA is probably using leftover parts to assemble a few guns. www.trailcreektrade.com/gunlist.html#othersa

Man, in this day and age, a website offering guns for sale without pictures is pretty dang frustrating.

I know! I remembered what it was like reading Shotgun News, ordering a gun from some anonymous schmuck based on a two line description! Not nostalgic for those days.

The fit down in the corner where the Cylinder frame, grip frame and trigger guard meet needs some fitting... and then it would need refinishing... that gun would look fantastic with a Turnbull CCH mail frame and hammer, and a high polish blue on the cylinder, barrel and grip frame... I like the grip frame shape and the lanyard ring stud... could be a very classy looking little belly gun with some work.

It's always nice to spend $1700 on a gun and have to send it out for work. I thought USFA was better than that!

I expect that. With a Ruger.

I was surprised to see an ill-fitting trigger guard on that piece too ... makes one wonder if it wasn't a clean-out-the-parts-bin special. But even at that, it was obviously polished - so one wonders why they didn't just polish it flush like they should. One possible explanation is the screws are loose and the guard is slightly off center - it's hard to tell from the pic's lighting if the opposite side is equally offset in the same direction. I would for sure be torqued if I bought that pistol though - as stuff like that would drive me insane, and yes, it would take a expensive refinish to fix it.
