Here is the gun. Need some work but solid as a rock. Looks like a winner to me! What's not to like?

That's a great gift, I think I'd leave it just as it is. The older I get the less inclined I am to alter a nice old gun unless it's been buggered up. Frank

There are some pits that are cosmetic on the cylinder and some spots of blue gone from the frame. There is a pit with blue gone on the right side of the barrel. Since this thing isn't going anywhere I am thinking about sending it to Alan Harton after deer season to pretty it up. The only value that is going to matter on this one is to me. Meanwhile back at the ranch flexjr and I are talking about doing a flat top hunt. Taking them out together. These things were meant to be used. reflex264
