Finally here it is, the Lipsey's Ruger Bisley Blackhawk .44 mag stainless 3.75": Just saw it announced today....can't wait to get one!!!

The more I look at this photo the more interested I get. I prefer 45 but I may still get one. 320's at 1,250 fps would make quite a cannon. I'd also be tempted to shorten the grip but still keep it square butted. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

i am waiting for the standard grip 3.75 ss 45 cal. i e maild them when this came back but never heard back from them

Understand from a Ruger forum member that shops should have some end of this week or next. I've got one on hold to play with before having it converted to 45 ultimately--at least thats what I expect to happen.

whats the average price to convert a 44mag to 45 More than the gun! Not a reason in itself not to. On the other hand Lipsey's tends to follow up with 45 versions of their 44 cal special run guns.

Buy it, send it to Reeder for a 45 Cal 5 shot conversion and a new heavy 3.75" bbl, have him round butt the grip frame (aka gunfighter) do some black micarta stocks and vapor hone the whole gun.

With the SS Bisley parts almost impossible to find, you could buy one and shoot the hell out of it. Then use it as a base for a full blown custom.
