They all get shot, we just need to figure out a time. I talked to Roy last week about a little FA 97 that Hamilton did the reduced two piece grip frame on. We are going to see if Roy can do one piece snakewood grips on it. If not, then we will go with one piece elephant tooth. I let Rem choose between the gun shown and these other two guns. The Bowen 41 now lives at Kraigs house. The other is the Colt NF conversion to 45 Colt.

You got one hell of a custom 45 at a firesale price. As noted the grips alone are $500+. Enjoy and please let us know how it shoots. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Sorry Stan, I am lucky in that most of those bases are covered in one form or another. I even snagged a 6" heavy barreled Dan Wesson SS 41 mag earlier this week. I am curious to see what Ben's long heavy 45 bullets look like. I will have to give him a call and discuss load data a little. While I am learning the flexibility of the 475 more and more, I keep remembering Bowen's words that in his opinion, the 45 the most versatile of the 40+ bores.

All the voids filled? PTL! The good Lord knows I don't need another custom. I'm on the brink of having as many in work at one time as you do. Just cutting a deal on two more.. and another on the back burner pending.
Working on the 475? Bowen said that the 45 was most versatile? You remember what Lee Jurras wrote would be the one he would have if there was only one at his house? IRRC it was his 5.5 inch Linebaugh built 475...

Now be careful Axe, I am on the down hill side of the custom project list. Not many out there to get wrapped up for me at this point in time.

I know there is some cool stuff you have in the works in the smaller caliber stuff. It will be fun to see them when they get done. The only small one I have out there is a FA 97 that Mr. Bowen has done his two piece gripframe trim up conversion on. He shipped it to Roy Fishpaw earlier this week for grips. It is one of the little dual cylinder 32 Mag/327 guns with the one cylinder fluted with a BP bevel and hopefully even a regulated ERH screw. Kind of looking forward to seeing it soon.
