Dave Clements did mine a couple of years back. I have no idea what the going rate is now, but I bet it would be shockingly lower than you think. I know it was for me!

It is a 475, and don't worry too much about the logo. It is very shallow and easily draw filed away.

No it was something goofy along the lines of, If I wanted to have the barrel shortened and it got into the MRI billboard,I would have to purchase a new barrel,as in they couldnt just remove it and re do it closer to the frame. Im liking the Huntington idea a lot anyway.

Alan Harton did mine. He cut the barrel back to 5 1/2" and added a barrel band sleeve to which a Weigand base was fitted. With the barrel cut the original BFR lettering looked wrong so he removed it and just marked the barrel with "475 Linebaugh". I also had him work the trigger, install an overtravel stop and fit a Huntington modified grip frame and grips. I prefer it to the Ruger Bisley grip frame.

Dandee, Major Kap, and the rest of you BFR guys might make a note. I have got to make Lee another front sight like the one he has on his BFR. It is an all steel sculpted blank for the BFR to replace the aluminum factory one. We ground a special cutter to match the BFR barrel radius. If any of you guys want one, they are 59 bucks plus 3 for shipping, PM me. Remember, they are blanks and ready to be blued, serrated, or modified however you wish.
Perhaps Lee would post a couple of close ups???
