I just got a pretty darn decent oooold three screw single six for under 300. It yearns for at the least a good polish and reblue. All you fellas out there have to have some that spent time in a patient mans hands before you called it your own. Please post pics. Thanks

This one has had a caliber/cylinder (41 Special) change but a nice front sight (like 2 Dogs is/was selling), proper polish and blue with elk stags ain't too bad. A blackpowder chamfer would look nice too I believe.

I almost bid on that gun. I was going to CCH it and put SW J frame rear with a ramp front on it.

Ain't that a damn hoot. Pretty. Question Boge, is the single six bisley hammer and a blackhawk bisley hammer the same? The gun a few posts back looks distinguished.

Distinguished! How about that!... DAWG! FWIW I believe the SS hammer is a Single Six Bisley hammer.. The SS cylinder frame is smaller than the BH..

What Axe said - they are a different frame size.

Boge said "rather crude scrimshaw work by an unknown Yooper scrimshander." that is not crude, that is a realistic image of howling creature..... from the upper peninsula: the Yoopercabra !
