I just lucked into another 454 Magnum Seville: Only around 80 were produced (50 under Sporting Arms Inc ownership and another 30 as United Sporting Arms). This is the Sporting Arms version. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

I thought you wanted a 7.5" 375 SuperMag Mike. You interested in 454 Sevilles too? -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Were they all that barrel length Lee? Yes and no. All of the Sporting Arms Inc. 454's were 7.5". United Sporting Arms then produced 5 silhouette versions with 10.5" barrels. All had the IHMSA logo engraved on the topstrap: I've been lucky enough to obtain 2 of the 5. I don't have photographs on-hand, but will post them later. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

This is a 41 Magnum but it's exactly what the 10.5" 454 Sevilles look like: -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Looks like a Hemi piston (due to valve relief location)..... ;D
Beautiful revolver, BTW!

Beautiful! As you know, when I was younger & dumber, I had Dave Clements cut down my 7.5 inch Seville .454 Magum, a gift from Hank Williams Jr. After I wrote his autobiography, to a more manageable 5.5 inch barrel ( the length of the ejector rod), do an action job and give me a bead-blast finish. I know, I'm sorry. Grips are original, a light color with beautiful patterning (much like MajorKap's gun), and nobody who has seen the gun hasn't immediately lusted after it.
S/N is 7-00400

Thanks for the photos guys. And ChargerFan....looks like we now have 4 of the 5 IHMSA marked 454's accounted for. I own 2, you own 1, and I know a fellow that has the 4th. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Lee, IIRC when I bought mine, it made 3 of the 5 accounted for, so it's great to hear that a 4th one has been made known. I'd sure love to hear when #5 pops up. Major Kap & Mbaneacp, you guys both lucked out with your wood grips! Kap, yours looks really beautiful. BTW, to anyone still learning about Sevilles, the 10.5" Tuscon guns have "Seville Silhouette" marked on the barrels. That goes for all calibers, as far as I know, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. *EDIT* Nevermind, I'll correct myself...I saw a 10.5" .357 Maxie Seville today with no "Silhouette" on the barrel. One interesting thing I noticed recently about my .454 is that the barrel length is actually 10 1/4", while the .375 is an even 10.5". The barrel doesn't look like it has been played with, but it is a little odd about the 1/4" difference. Lee, are both yours 10 1/4" also?
