Beautiful USFA sixgun! It's killing me though. Three weeks ago I handled one at a gun show in Boise. 45 Colt 7 1/2" with the ACP cylinder for $875. Exactly what I was looking for but for some reason set it down. Went to look at the RCA displays for a few minutes came back and a guy was laying down the cash. One has to be prepared to jump when the opportunity presents itself. Fortunately I have two others I took to the range a couple of days later to soothe the pain.

Mike454, Thanks for the information! That article in Rifle was great.
chutch, I can feel your pain. I've done it myself a number of times. That's why I always take 1k with me to any gun show....just in case.
shadow, Good stuff. I got ahold of USFA today and Mr. Granger was not in. A lady did take my serial number and told me this gun was manufactured in February of 1998.
She told me by the date, it would be a Uberti parts gun. I did not expect that....but that's why I haggled with the seller....just in case it turned out to be a Uberti parts gun.
Regardless of it's parts...it's beautiful. I will be shooting this gun more once the weather improves.
I thought you all would like to know that just because the parts do not have Uberti markings....the gun may just be a gun with Uberti parts. Makes buying on the fly pretty tricky!
