Yes unfortunately, cancer isn't picky and will attack anyone. I have been following the discussion here. Lot of great guys have donated things to be auctioned off to send Mr. Gallagher the proceeds. I have chatted with him a couple times lately. Super nice guy. We have talked about hunting and kids and stuff. Mr. Gallagher is a smith that I wish I could have commissioned to make a revolver for me. He is listing some of his private guns on Gunbroker so if you want one, it may not be too late. I cannot afford one at this time and that saddens me.

One of the nicest and most perfect custom revolvers I have ever seen is my sons Gallagher built long cylinder 45. It's a work of art. Mr John is a very sick man and certainly needs prayer. He was able with the help of some friends to go on a deer hunt this past season and took a nice buck. Keep him in your prayers.

Very good guy...happy to have a few examples of his work...always enjoyed making the drive up to Jasper to check on projects and just chat.

Regarding Mr Gallagher’s cancer; if he is still fighting it, please pass on to him to look at information for ESSIAC TEA. Modern Medicine will turn its’ nose up at it but the short version is that it’s said to be a late 19th/early 20th Century Canadian Indian herbal tea that stimulates the immune system. That it turn is said to allow the body to defeat what were thought to be terminal cancers. I’ve spoken personally with two people that were told to go home and die, and know of a third, that had their cancer “go away” after a regime of Essiac tea use. I pass it on because I figure when one has tried all that Modern Medicine has to offer, what have you got to lose? Funny how what is old gets noticed and becomes new (mold in a lab dish led to penicillin, quinine from tree bark cures Maleria, there’s more but you get the point). I’m no doctor, don’t claim to be, I’m just saying the information is out there for those with an interest.
