If you are like me, a true fan of the Ruger Single Six, then you just HATE the stock front sight that comes on them. They are clunky looking and the ramp can be difficult to see. I have spent many bucks having custom front sights made but there might be a better way. I recently had this particular one done for a close friend, but my tool and die maker said he could make some more if we needed them. Price is 59.00 US dollars plus shipping. They are in the white, the front blade is is bit taller, and they are ready to be serrated, blued, or even have a bead or gold bars installed by your local smith. They attach by means of the original factory screw, but it may need to be shortened just a bit as needed. You can see the flowing lines and much more sculpted and graceful ramp. Have a look and let me know. ITs a bit hard to get a pic of but I try.....

Make some that fit the BFR and you'll sell bunches more. Everybody hates the aluminum sight on those.
I'd be interested in this, but my Bisley Single Six has the drift rear sight and I'd have to grind away most of the sight pictured in order to zero it.

Subsonic, I believe I have one of those in the safe. Lemme look and see if I can compare them and I will get back to you.

Also, you might want to take your front sight off your Ruger and see how it fits on your BFR. You could get lucky and it might work!

I'm dang sure in for one. I've got a tricked out Bowen 32 that who ever had it built kept the stock front sight. What are the chances of this being a one time run? And... The BFR fix is easy~

I dont know if he is going to do more than one run. I prolly need about 10 to get him to do any. So far I have four requests. Considering the price of a custom front sight, I personally think its a pretty good price. Im not making a dime off of this deal, and I am surprised at the lukewarm response.

Keep this at the top for a few days.. These forum guys like to sleep in, reload, cast bullets, trade guns and shoot on weekends. When they all return on Monday they'll whip out their money and buy.. These things will be something that will get oohs and aahs in the years to come. The ones of us who take the time to stash a few away will be envied...

Nice piece. I suspect that if it came cut to match factory heights, blade angled forward 20 degrees, serrated, polished and blued they would be selling like hot cakes. 'Course they wouldn't be $59 either.

Ed, the blade does have a angle, but there is no sense is taking them any further. Some guys will want gold bars, some guys want serrations, some guys might want a bead etc.....

2dogs, Any chance you have a overall height, I was looking at my BFR and I really think they will fit on one pretty good .

Its hard to measure front sights like that bro. I will ask my guy if he will make you one. But Im most likely going to need the one on your gun to get the radius right and locate the screw and such. I dont happen to have a BFR at the moment....
Stan, you got a bunch of BFRs.... Can I have one? It is almost Valentines Day......
