Thank you Mr. Cubrock... It's probably been shown here before...but what the heck...it's my LAST of the year. Picked it up this afternoon. I hope to shoot it tomorrow (if I can get a few "honey-dos" off the list). It's sure a nice revolver. Now I need to keep my eye open for another. Bob Happy New Year!

Very nice. I'm probably gonna regret not buying that one when offered. I had two other Seville purchases in the works and had to pass. You got a hell of a deal on a very clean Bisbee Seville. Enjoy. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Is that a basepin sleeve? It's the "Kwik-Kit" switch barrel version.

Thanks guys. I do look forward to taking it out back...
Just curious....the barrel and cylinder are numbered "42"....the gun/frame is numbered "34"....was this common with the Kwik-kit guns?
It's not an issue...but raised the question in my mind.

Bob,
Lee and I talked about that before I bought it. The numbers are supposed to match, but given the finish match and the consistent wear on the whole gun, it makes one wonder if the gun came out of the factory that way. If not, then that barrel and cylinder have been on the gun for a very long time.
I tried to get the skinny from the previous owner (who sold it to the shop where I bought it), but he didn't know. Communicating through the shop wasn't easy, but it was obvious he had no clue. He didn't even know what he had before he contacted Lee about the gun (which was before he sold it to the shop where I got it). How he got it or how long he had it, I was not able to determine. My biggest interest in contacting him was to see if he had more barrels and cylinders and to throw money at him if he did. He didn't.

Thanks for the feedback on the numbers. I agree...the gun looks to have "worn" with the barrel and cylinder.
Thanks pb....you get over here and you can try it yourself!

I pulled the gun out of the safe and was pleased to find it has extremely consistent .451 cylinder throats.
The trigger pull did not vary from 2lb. - 13 oz.
Quite a nice revolver.

I agree: quite a nice revolver.
I've never seen or touched a Seville but I will at the first opportunity.

My guess is the factory mis-numbered this one. These guns are so rare it's unlikely someone found parts from QW-42 and mated them to QW-34. -Lee www.singleactions.com
