Well, semi-custom I guess. I started with your basic 6 1/2" Single-Six. Upgrades include: - Bisley hammer added - Throats corrected to 0.3125" - Forcing cone recut to 11 degrees - Barrel was free-bored slightly - #5 basepin added - Bowen target rear sight - Metalife hard-chrome finish - Claro walnut grips by Cary Chapman My initial load was 3.0 of Green Dot under a 115 grain Meister. Really nice to shoot and seems plenty accurate. I haven't shot 32 H&R in a while and forgot how much fun they can be. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Nice revolver! How come you did not unscrew front sight and blue it?

I like the silver contrast against the black notched rear sight. Gives a really crisp sight picture. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Thanks Whit. After spending 2011 shooting 500 S&W's, 475 & 500 Linebaughs, 445 SuperMags, and a 450 Marlin BFR, this little plinker is a welcomed change. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Very nice... I've been discussing building a 32 Single Six with Reeder. I'm currently thinking oversize cylinder, custom barrel and a Bisley conversion... At least a 6 inch barrel. Might go 8.

Very nice, Lee. I like the 32 H&R mag a lot, and that's a beauty.

Thanks guys. It's a great little round and I forgot how cheap it is to reload. Especially with 3.0 of Green Dot. -Lee www.singleactions.com

I should add, it needs more front sight for that load. I'm gonna try some H110 to see if the POI changes much, but I'm pretty sure I need a taller blade. I heard the Ruger Mark III/IV front sights are a direct swap. Anyone know the tallest they make? I think the standard Single-Six is just under 0.4" tall. If not, I may just make a post version out of aluminum. Thanks, -Lee www.singleactions.com

Yo Lee, How much would a custom full cylinder window length 6 shot cylinder buy us? Perhaps we could have bullet molds made with crimp grooves that place more bullet out of the case. Could we approach 327 level loads?

Axe....it really wouldn't buy anything over a 327. If you're going to have a new cylinder made why not just chamber it for the Federal? Otherwise, you'll duplicate performance but at the expense of custom molds. -Lee www.singleactions.com
