I should add, this cylinder is still pretty rough. All the machine marks and sharp edges will get taken out before heat treating. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Hey Mom! Can I go play at Lee's house? He has all the neat toys! ;D
Hey Lee, you want to try and fit a S&W 44 barrel to it? I have a 8 3/8" I am getting ready to post in classifieds. You can get it at below cost if you want to try cutting it down, machining off the ejector rod boss and rethreading it to Rugers pitch and thread count. Or if you really want to stretch the mid frame envelope, I have a 6" 45 Colt S & W ribbed barrel you could try.

Lee your process is very much as we did it in New York and Tucson. We never had a CNC lathe to turn cylinders or barrels. Multiply your work by 100 or 200 in a production way. Think what could have been if we ever had the equiptment to do it right?
