Hated that I wasn't born in or at least a resident of Wyoming but it does fill the Linebaugh void in my set very well anyway. .

Wow, That's a nice one. When I close my eyes and think of a .500 or .475, thats what I see. Jealous again.

Gorgeous work. I love the looks of the big bores.
But who took the pictures? I don't see your foot anywhere in those pics, Axehandle...

Congrats on the new gun. Those grips look fabulous. 20 year old John Linebaugh built 475,... doesn't get much better than that!

Sounds like I may need to put together a new "SET" picture! May need 3 or 4 more like this one to make a proper picture. ;D

That is a beauty, I love the grips. But I don't think Hornady was making 475 brass in 1990?

The timeline for Hornady 475 Brass is beyond my feeble brain.. Guess another question might be was Dustin making grips in 1990? Of course nothing says that the grips wern't fitted years after the gun was built..

Did Hornady make 475 brass first or was it the Starline that Buffalo Bore had made up first???
Inquiring minds want to know....
Anyay way you look at it, though, that is one fine looking revolver.

I believe that BB is credited with being the first to commercially manufacture the small rim 475L we see now days. BB brass came with my first 475 along with some Hornady ammo.
