Pictures when it gets to your door? You are going to like this one, and if you don't let me know, I might have trade stock stashed away somewhere.

Good choice, the factory grips do suck on those

I picked-up the Charter Arms Bulldog you all talked me into buying: Took it to the range on Saturday and it shot great. 3- 4" high @ 15 yards and dead on at 30 using a 250 grain Keith over 5.0 of Green Dot. I was really surprised at the accuracy....at 30 yards I could consistently hit the bases of downed silhouettes (3 x 6"). -Lee www.singleactions.com

We told you, the only thing I suggest doing is pouring a front sight insert, and coloring the back of the frame black with a sharpie, that stainless frame gets a little hard to see in bright sunlight, BTW, has anyone noticed what these now sell for new? They've came up A LOT, just about doubled for a new one

Yep, they have gone up in price (as have most guns since last November). Seems like $400 is the norm for a new Bulldog. -Lee www.singleactions.com

$400 for a Charter Arms handgun,.......
That means one of two things. Either there quality has improved and they're putting out a better product, or, inflation has hit the little guys first. I hope it's the former.

Quality is about the same, but I only paid $295 for mine NIB. BTW, while they're no Smith or Ruger they're not bad little guns. My dad has one from the late 70's that's seen thousands of rounds without incident. -Lee www.singleactions.com

That's about the size of it, but I personally think they're right on par with the Ruger, Colt, Smith, Etc. I just wish they went $400 around here, I'd love to have another one

" but I personally think they're right on par with the Ruger, Colt, Smith, Etc."
I've owned carried shot tuned over a dozen Bulldogs. I have two now, NO WAY are they even CLOSE to a S&W, Colt, or Ruger in quality. They shoot loose rapidly many loose screws, pins that drift on their own, broken "unbreakable beryllium copper firing pins" etc. No they are handy carry or store a lot shoot a little guns, definitely not carry and shoot as much as you want, your grand kids will be wearing it out S&W Ruger or Colt. I agree Rob. Charter Arms are good little snub-noses, but their quality isn't anywhere near that of S&W, Ruger, or Colt. Precisely why my everyday guns are: -Lee www.singleactions.com
