There are powers stoning fixture conversions for sale on eBay. Being sold by Powers. I've got one and have been using it. I would just like to see a specific one for the Blackhawk/Bisley. No adapter is perfect, especially when disassembled every time I want to do a 1911 and then reassembled. Not to be a smart-ass, and I know how much the Powers fixtures cost, but... buy another one and leave it set up for Blackhawks.

If his swim trunks are made of fabric with prints of roosters wearing socks, I'm gonna have to take credit for them I think im going to engrave a rooster with socks on your Single six. Hahaha. Thats Hilarious. Do it for the 22 hornet/57...my son would kill me if you did it on his OMS6 And I'm partial to Foghorn Leghorn if you are being serious ... that would make one helluva cylinder roll on that 22 Hornet cylinder ... fyi, that saying was my old man's way of saying something was slick... one of the few of his sayings that even approach acceptable in mixed company.

I would prefer to spend my money with someone I know and like on something I also know will be just right for the purpose. Besides, as a firm capitalist, I believe honest competition keeps businesses healthy.

My wish is we not overwhelm Ronnie until my SBH is converted to a Bradshaw Bisley . I know it's selfish and impatient of me but to be honest I've never been good at DIY gunsmith work.

Well i got me a hammer now Mark. This is just routine Fitting and done shortly now. Got some really nice walnut again so im finishing up fittings this week and next . None of this is overwhelming at all. Alot of this is already in play. And Just way to much fun. Kindof like the seen in City Slickers when Curly tells Mitch that, THERE IS NOTHING LIKE BRINGIN IN THE HERD! The sense of accomplishment is better than anything for guys like us huh? Im always in design mode. I had a guy ask me one day what it would be like to spend a day in my shoes. My Son michael told him that would bore you, Hell spend 15 seconds in his head, THAT WOULD FREAK YOU OUT! Haha. I got a kick out of that but they have seen me when i go into my Design Trance. Metal starts flying, Stuff catches on fire and i think we even saw Elvis walk thru the shop once. Just ask Fermin. Its ugly man. LOL R PS: I love this stuff. So much Fun.

One of my bucket list items is to go see you in your shop in full design mode. Same here...I'd like to drive down, visit with my sisters in The Woodlands and Magnolia, and maybe sight see my old stomping grounds around Meyerland, Bellaire and Conroe (where I grew up). Then to put a cherry on top, run over to Ronnie's shop and learn a thing or two. RTFO Mr. Wells.

A RWGF wish list? How about a low profile, silver solder Blackhawk style front sight base, that will allow blade changes - and work with the Vaquero rear sight notch? They said it can't be done (dove tail cut only), but I ain't buyin' it...

But I have made a compact front sight base that takes modified DX blades for the Single Six. I might be able to adapt it to the Vaquero.

That said, got no vaqueros at the moment, but never know about the future...

Talkin about wish list, Ronnie...
How about grip frames for Colt SAA and/or Colt Clones? A bolt on #5 or potato judge jr to fit the taller eared Bisley frames would be wicked. Beat the hell outta cutting, welding and reshaping the way its gotta be done now, to change out the oddball standard bisley grip for something better. I'm sure there's a way to do them to keep the existing bisley hammer too, for #5 builds as an example, rather than welding up, milling and grafting lower spurs onto standard hammers for such jobs.
I'd buy grip frames again in a heartbeat if bolt on Colt frames become a thing

What about 2 piece frames for 1 piece grips? Just an idear I know this man is busy and has ideas coming a mile a minute not to mention the backstock of ideas after years of runnin machines for other people! Chances are if we can dream it up Ronnie has as well and maybe even made it and tried it out!
