working on a .410 folder for MRS. this is a CZ, & she's half Czech, so it's special to her... stock is cut down to fit her slight figure... the barrel on both of these are legal length, but her's is a very tiny gun, when folded... picture was taken as I was working the stock down, so the gun would fold barrel up to the stock... in factory form, it only folded into a "V"

Whatever I'm carrying - which is always a 3" 357 revolver.
It serves as my CCW and could, in a pinch, serve other purposes regarding varmints, vermin, wounded game, game maybe needed for food, protection from any type of animal in my area, etc.
Any more, I'd no sooner leave my wallet with $2,000 cash in my vehicle than one of my guns. I don't even like leaving one in a vehicle on stops to/from home.
My favorite, most-used/most-useful, most truck-gun-capable long-arm cost me about that much by the time I got it all put together. The suppressor alone was about half that cost and the implications of losing something like THAT makes me cringe all the more. Nothing fancy - just a Contender Carbine with a plastic stock. The cost of guns these days is big enough deterrent without the "bonus" of what some miscreant might be doing to others with it.

My best gun if I ever had to fight from a vehicle again is an Anderson built sbr. 7" barrel, RDIS (select fire sear), compact ADS suppressor, Micro stock,Trijicon red dot and 45° irons, 300blk.
The only times it has ridden with me regularly was during the black live riot mess and I had to go into Charlotte for work. It's never actually stayed in the truck, but fits right in a regular day pack.
