My sympathies, Sir! I lost my best buddy, an English Setter named Winston, in November. We were together for 16 years. Winston. What a cool name. Thanks man. Just a new opportunity to get another and build memories with the next pooch. Sure have a lot of good ones with ole Camper.

Losing our fur companions is a whole different kind of loss! I feel for you Ronnie, I really do. I still miss the little Boston terrier we lost last year. Thanks Rob. Remember a conversation we had about him. I think Fermin is going to miss Camper just as much. Ole Camper loved Fermin.

Remember a conversation we had about him. I think Fermin is going to miss Camper just as much. Ole Camper loved Fermin. One day, ole Campy boy obviously wanted to go outside to tinkle and Ronnie was really busy so I opened the door for him and walked with him clear across the parking lot to the grass on the curb. Camper was really small and maybe covered 4 inches per step (not counting the ones that he took sideways) so this took a little while. Anyway, after he does his business we turn around to go back to the shop and I ended up kinda “herding” him back because he obviously had decided he was going to make a break for his freedom! Ole campy boy was one of a kind.

In the past couple of years, I have had 7 heart attacks that they know for sure.
My heart doctor even said that he figured I was a goner. But here I am back to work and doing fine. They are amazed my heart is structurally perfect. The valves all work properly and there's no visible plaque buildup. They're just guessing it was Covid related.
But anyway, when it's time to go, you're going. If it ain't time, you ain't going nowhere. So enjoy now and let tomorrow worry about itself.

Ronnie you have my sympathy and I know how you feel! I lost my Springer spaniel Cleo about 18 months ago. The wife got a new dog a year ago and at time I call the new one Cleo. Remember the great things and push on!

Wow, pretty wise words. My congrats to you folks on your long marriages and families, my condolences for your losses. I'm 57 now and have no idea where that came from. I've lost plenty too, had a COVID induced stroke and shredded my shoulder trying to get back from that, but still have a fine woman, my kids, my brother and his family, a cool rat terrier, and good friends. My body has mended pretty close to 100%, I'm almost back to where I started. I'm a rich man.
