The 22/32/357 frame was smaller than the max or 44/45/etc frame. I doubt we will ever see one that covers rimfire midrange and the bigbores,.....unless it would be on the large frame. (which would be a LOT of revolver for a .22) How about one frame to shoot .22, .32, .327, .38/.357. Now wouldn't that be cool.

Did DW ever offer a switch caliber theme? Nope. I think that may have been mostly due to DW not wanting to invite accidents unnecessarily, due to inexperienced & clueless people. For example, the barrels & frames were threaded differently between calibers, so someone couldn't accidentally screw a .22 barrel on their .357 & pull the trigger. I do really like the idea of a switch caliber gun, always have. The .22 may be a problem though, because the firing pin needs to be off center, due to the rim fire case...but a .17 HMR would probably work in that lineup. Although .22LR & Mag cylinders wouldn't be hard to deal with. Sounds fun!

In the past couple of years the prices of used Dan Wessons have skyrocketted. The .357's that only brought $250-$300 are now well over $500 and approaching $700. The SuperMags used to be $700-$900, now they top a grand with some going for $2000. It's hard to imagine that SuperMags once sold new for just over $300 and, at one time, you could find M15-2's in pawn shops for $75. I also never understood why the .45 Colt wasn't hyped more since it's cylinder is more than strong enough to handle those "Ruger/Contender only" loads and, with an Alaskan Guide shroud setup, would have been an instant hit. Although by all accounts the semi auto Dan Wessons are excellent pistols, I am of the opinion that they caused the death of the revolvers and I have little respect for the individual who took them in that direction. If CZ does bring the revolvers back, I only look for the small frame .357 and SuperMag .445, maybe the .44 Mag, to appear.

350 Dollars is what I spent for youngest boy's 357 and 350 Dollars is what I spent for my oldest boy's 44..It took awhile for my father who has time to frequent the Gunshows to track them down..At times they were hard to even find. That is why One boy ended up with a 44 and the other a 357...Eventually I will pass on my 44 Smith and 357 Smith to at least even out the calibers..
Both boys..at 10 and 14 are quite happy as it is..Both have 6 inch barrels so even if another barrel or two is never obtained Hunting and Target shooting are no issue..
I am hoping they do come out with them again..
I would love a 357 Magnum Pistol Pac..
Living on the east side of the Missisippi I think that it would be all the Gun I would ever need for most endevours..

I would love to see Dan Wesson make a comeback. I owned two Dan Wessons that were made in Monson ages ago. I sold them when I was short on funds.
I will add that both of them had to go back to the factory for some tuning up, so to speak.
One issue I hope that the new Dan Wesson will resolve is to make them available for sale in Massachusetts. We had a stupid safety testing law thus all handguns made after 1998 have to be what is called Mass Compliant.
I'd love to own a nice DW 445 Supermag with a couple of barrels.
