Last January I was in a big gun shop and one of the sales guys that I've known for ever was trying to find one of the Ruger GP100 10mm 3" guns that haven't been made in a LONG time... Apparently he put in a special order with my name first in line as I got a call out of the blue that they just got one in...so they are holding it for me... Checked on GunBroker and none are there yet but I would imagine that there will be soon... These were a TALO distributor exclusive and are still listed on the Ruger website. Used ones that have been coming up have been going for $1250+.. Bob www.gunbroker.com/item/987407145

Cool, I'd love to get a 10mm Match Champ.

Good deal Bob...
I've got the 5" Half Lug Blued Model from Lipseys.
I suspect you'll like this gun.

Have had one of the 4" MCs since a week after they were announced...great shooting gun... By the time I decided to buy a 3" there were no more new ones on the market...
Will probably pick this one up in about two weeks when I have another gun on lay-a-way there come due...

Remember the days when CDNN was blowing things out cheap. I gave $599 for this 10mm.

Will those shoot .40 S&W?

This is good news. I looked for a 3 inch 10mm for months before settling for a 2.5 inch 357 . It has been a great little gun but I still want a 3 inch with Novak sights. The Gp100 compact grip works very well for me.

I have enjoyed my MC in 10mm. It's a 4" one,, and I used it for USPSA competition until I got my Super GP-100 in 9mm.
To answer alukban,, yes,, they can shoot .40 S&W. But I'd get misfires when using Ranch Products moon clips sometimes. Can't have that in competition. So I just loaded 10mm brass down to USPSA levels, and problems went away. Also,,, the few TK Custom moons seemed to be better at NOT allowing misfires.

Since getting some TK Thick Clips zero misfires with .40 S&W... I've experienced the same. Bought a 10 Pack of TK Clips and no more issues...

Coming back home from Connecticut this afternoon, I stopped at the shop to confirm that the gun was actually a WC 3" 10mm...and it was... Didn't have time to do the paperwork so put the gun on lay-a-way and will pick up next week...
Has a really nice balance...action breaks about the same as the 4.2" MC, which is not quite as nice as an older .357 I have had for about 20 years...

Picked the gun up this afternoon...the DA and SA is only what I would call ok... The last little bit of DA trigger pull is gritty as is the SA. First time I have had that in a Redhawk or GP-100 bought new or used.
That said, accuracy was very good. Shot three clips of .40 S&W and one of full house 10mm 200s... Once the action is tuned up I think groups will get even better. Shoots right to the dot on the front sight...more testing to come...

I bought one of the GP100's and a S&W 610 at the same time, sold the Ruger just as fast as I could get it down the road. The Smith would shoot circles around it, accuracy was poor and the trigger was terrible on the Ruger. Just my experience, I hope you have better luck with yours.

Took both the 4" and 3" to the range yesterday afternoon... The trigger on the 3" is starting to smooth out...
Only had my 10mm "Bear" loads with me just to see how they would handle. They are a 200 grain running in the 1200+- from a 1911. They were "stout" in both guns but manageable...
When the press gets set back up for 10mm I'm going to load some 155-165 cast and jacketed bullets in the 1100 fps range.
Longhunter...I agree the GP-100 in 10mm isn't as shootable as the 610...that said it would like comparing a Redhawk .44 to a S&W 69 with full loads....
When I picked up the gun, the manager who got the WC for me was on vacation. The other manager didn't know how it was procured. Checked the serial number and it shows made in 2023 so it isn't a "leftover"...
