Don't see the typical MIM injection mark on the hammer on these guns. Maybe I'll get the range buddy to let me take his apart to look deeper...
Spoke to him this morning about stripping it down for pictures after a few 100 rounds. He is up for that.

Tisas makes an excellent 1911! I'm currently on my third. There's few things firearms related that I despise more than those damn butt ugly Novak sights...Fortunately, some excellent replacement options are available for the Novak sight cut.

That and ambi safeties. Nobody on the planet, except half a dozen backwards lefties, want an ambi safety on their 1911. I'd love to try one of Tisa's bobtail guns, but don't know if I wanna fool with fitting a NORMAL safety to it. Its not hard, just a pain. JMO
