I did shoot a .327 this week smart handed for first time in long time. No pain so going to try some .44 specials in a heavy .44 magnum this weekend maybe to see how that goes. If isn't painful, may dig out some magnums and .460s to see if can shoot those again.
Hand / wrist issues can definitely be frustrating...

Junebug: I grew up on a cattle, hog, & grain farm. Parents always cautioned us about watching out for the bulls and we did; but it seemed to always be the cows with new calves that sent us scrambling.
A bull with horns or without could bust a person up in a hurry. A few years ago, two of my brother's Angus bulls got in a fight near his truck in the pasture. One shoved the other into the truck hard. Mashed in the side of his truck and the bull that got shoved was found dead a couple days later.

I have left hand [dumb side] holsters for my primary carry arms, [bought several years ago before rotator cuff surgery] on both shoulders, back to back. They came in handy then, and are still used now for carry and practice, those horrible shoulder slings, as soon as I got home from surgery had fixed blade knife sheaths velcroid inside them, because even opening a knife dumb handed is difficult. Anyone who has ever seen a SERIOUS bull fight, not talking about a pecking order fight, that doesn't walk away in AWE of there speed ,agility, and pure power, needs to stay out of the pasture!
