Not in the least bit, and that doesn't bother me at all, but it does have some very specific uses in the places I find myself in daily

I have the public defender.I agree that it is not the most practical gun for ccw/self defense. That does not keep it from being carried on occasion (mostly in the woods of South Carolina where we have snakes and bad tempered feral hogs). That is where I believe it to be most practical for my use.It is a fun gun(if you like recoil and muzzle blast as my friends and I do).Hand thrown water botttles and clays make good fun. #8 21/2" 410 are not to hard to find and much cheaper and available that 44 special,MAGS, and 45 colt which are what i would rather be dropping the hammer on.Factory ammo and reloading components are hard to come by in my neck of the woods. The fun factor and cheap available ammo are enough for it to earn a place in my safe.As for the pharmacy incident it did help stop the fight and the good guys were still standing.

The best thing to do with a Judge is put a .38-55 Win cylinder and 10" barrel on it. LOL

Local emporium just had a big Taurus promotion last weekend... Dealer says that the judges sold like hotcakes....

Sounds like a good idea t ome, in Jefferson Ohio there is a Golden Dawn graocery store wit ha full liquor department and a rather diverse porn assortment downstairs, and a full service gunshop upstairs in the back of the store, now that's what I call one stop shopping.
Posting this on a gun forum implies you weren't shopping for porn and liquor. I need a little more evidence.
