I think we were at 9200 feet in Colorado this year. My son is stationed in Colorado Springs and used to the altitude dad on the other hand is from east texas and huffing for air. Son running around not even winded. Him and a buddy did pack out a cow elk he got with his bow a few years ago said it was one of the hardest thing he had ever done. I got lucky the landowner drove his old 4x4 right up to my mule deer.

That same pose goes for my single moose, but multiple carryouts. And I was a much younger Ranger strong self. Now days I run out of breath going to pee for the second time that night.

Unfortunately no bulls with a TLA yet. I was gonna take it this year and then we decided to hunt where the shots would be to far. After arriving the area was to crowded so we went to our old spot. I shot this Bull at 7 yards on day 2. This year I'm only taking the TLA!!
