There's a few sizeable herds with the piebald gene between Ocala and Gainesville. Used to see them pretty often as a kid around Micanopy.

That deer deserves to be full bodied mounted!!.......pretty deer, regardless of antler size.

We get a few around this area occasionally. Many years ago,, I put a buddy's young son in one of my stands & he got a piebald. The young boy is now a man & his dad has passed. I'm still a "good friend" as he brings it up often enough.

There is a whole herd of white deer in upstate New York. It’s on the closed Seneca Army depot. Not a true albino. They don’t have pink noses or eyes. They are black. Something unique to the depot. Probably has to do with the nukes they used to house on the depot. Lol

I've seen them before and I could have harvested one in archery season one year, but it didn't meet the point requirement to be considered a legal buck. Not sure where it went or who got it after that since I never saw it after that season.
