The kit that made it happen. The rifle was a 308 Win Mauser M12 that Standard Manufacturing was blowing out at $510 delivered a bit ago. A bit of a rush hunt so Federal 150 gr blue box was used. First time I have used a factory load since 1979. A 230 yard shot 3 minutes into legal shooting time. I had no idea his head/rack was so big as I have never shot/seen a 200+ pound whitetail. We saw him the night prior coming out of the creek bottom but lost legal shooting time before he made a shot presentable. We headed back the next morning thinking he would be heading back towards the creek. He did...

Nice decoy, I’ve often thought that setup would work for pronghorns as well.
