What sort of a red dot mount do you have on that revolver? It is a EGW mount for a Ruger Carbine. The mounting holes just happen to match the BFR. It is a temporary mount since it makes the SRO red dot sit too far forward for my holsters that also fit my FA 83's. I plan to machine a proper mount that will resemble the Freedom Arms mounts, and have the SRO sit farther back. FA has caught on that the Trijicon Red dots are popular and have their own mounts at a reasonable price. I don't know why BFR can't catch on. I have recently moved my machine shop to my residence in Idaho 700 miles from it's previous location. I have been waiting months to get an electrician to show up and wire the new shop location (There is currently a building boom in my region). I plan on making a few RMR/SRO mounts for the BFR's. After some testing I plan on making some small runs of parts if the market has not filled that need.

I kept looking at the revolver and for whatever reason, my brain would not let my eyes know what they were seeing (hammer, rear sight, and the shape of the gripframe). My eyes saw a BFR and my brain was thinking RBH. As soon as you mentioned BFR it clicked. I'm usually not so slow on the uptake.
