I prefer the rather cheap and over stated look of fake plastic mother of pearl! I also like the look of factory Rosewoods on the same Single Six: For me it is hard to mess up the look of a blue single action!

"Fake Plastic" as opposed to "Genuine Plastic" ? I love that ;D
I wonder if the fake plastic is made from wood or maybe wood pulp products? With maybe some ground clam shells added?

LOL, I think I probably should have put a comma after the "fake!" They truly are fake mother of pearl and they are plastic.......! On the other hand, one of these days I plan on treating myself and one of my six guns to a set of your grips.......just a matter of time.......well and a little money!

I like holly on both blued and stainless guns. I like most everything Cary makes. I don't have a decent camera, but these grips are some that I picked from some walnut blanks Cary had.. but they already were sold.... then they buyer didn't follow through and, voila: his loss, my gain. I've put them on both blued and stainless Rugers and I can't decide where they look best.

Of course we all knew exactly what you meant, but I just couldn't resist a little good natured ribbing. I'm glad you took it light heartedly as it was intended. ;D Hmm.....my spell checker is underlining "natured" and "heartedly" as misspelled words, but offers no correct spelling. I guess these aren't correct English words. Oh Well.............I guess I have more than comma problems.
