Here is a sign of things to come. 6 shots at 25 yards off a rickety rest with a real heavy trigger.... Those are .177 holes..

Got it home and mounted a Leupold 2.5-8 scope. Trigger in work. Playing with ammo....

Trigger breaks clean but is just really heavy. My limited experience with the rimfire S&W revolvers tells me to leave the hammer spring and firing pin spring alone. I've got a trigger return spring in route.

FWIW I don't like the rings and base either. I've got Leupold replacements coming...

Have mine set up with a 4x Leupold and it’s a tack driver. Flat shooting, no recoil and hell on small critters.

Any new updates? I have one of these too with a Leupold 2.5x8 on it. Haven’t shot it a lot.

Still waiting on new rings and base. Did install a Power Custom trigger. Brought the trigger down to 2 pounds. Lost the DA for some reason. DA is a Moot point with this gun but I'd really like the DA to work in case the zombies attacked when i was out shooting.

Any updates on this, I have a 647 with the same scope mounted. I am gonna look into that Power Custom trigger. I can fire about 2-3 cylinders before it has to be cleaned or it starts binding from the unburnt powder.

So... A year later I know where the gun is. Scope base is in hand. Multiple oooh shiny moments have left it sitting. Maybe before next year!

Opened the case and see the DD Leupold base and rings sitting in the case. Look back at the pictures and see the base with windage adjustment for the rear ring. We know that has practical application when you run out of windage adjustment in your scope, but it is so ugly! Gary Reeder led me to the DD base on my TC barrels and I have never had a windage issue. We will see on this one. I plan some before and after pictures soon.
