A gun friendly optometrist can make you a set of glasses for the front sight focal distance. This can work well on the target range but isn't always a good thing for the hunting field. Play with color and front sight thickness. My old eyes like a black patridge blade and a thinner front blade these days.

My eyes have been going downhill for awhile. Not only am I 73 years old, I have retina damage in the right eye. Several of my handguns wear reflex sights, the irons just don’t get it for me anymore. I detest optics on a SA revolver but what the hell are you gonna do if you actually want to hit your mark ? I still shoot irons for fun but it ain’t as much fun as it used to be.

Prescut, ….. Took a look around and found that Lyman makes stick-on apertures you may want to try. It appears that they only make one size though. www.lymanproducts.com/accessories/eyepalr You can make your own by punching a small hole in a piece of black tape, trim it to round and apply wherever you want. Leather punches of various sizes will let you get the aperture just how you want it.

I am transitioning to red dot / reflex type sights on many of my handguns. Fought it; but can't much longer. They work better for me.

The one thing I am certain of is the more I stay off this computer, the better I see when I walk outside.

The one thing I am certain of is the more I stay off this computer, the better I see when I walk outside. The blue light that comes from computers, cellphones, TV damage the eyes. I. Switched over to glasses with blue light filters while looking at screens and my vision is not as fuzzy and the eyes don't feel as strained.

Windows 10 has a display setting that lets you reduce your monitor's blue light at select times.
If you are not using Windows 10, there is an app out there that does the same thing for other operating systems.
