I've moved on to real estate. Land buying and speculating is in full bore in Idaho right now, and my wife and I have jumped in the pool. Being a local boy helps. I want to thank Mr. Taffin for his input and to answer his query: Yes the best accuracy obrained with this particular firearm was 40 S&W 180 grainers Hornady, at a hair over two inches at 23 yds offhand.
I sold it to an individual who had a mountain of 40S&W he wanted to shoot up and he is a revolver freak. Told him the accuracy issues with the weapon. He wanted it anyway.
At 74 handgunning is beginning to hit the diminishing returns wall. Don't hunt, finally reached a point in life I can purchase animal protien. Stay proficient with Self Defense handguns but I'm older and getting slower, although I fight this with 3 trips to the gym each week and a good diet. I still like to hike and carry when in the woods, so I keep my hand in there, but competition with mega blasters doesn't do much for me. Sworn off revolvers for a while, keeping a couple 44s and a couple 357s.
