I wish you a speedy recovery. The people that are blowing this off as no big deal, are the ones not yet effected, themselves, loved ones, co-workers.. Reality sets in when ... Wife has an uncle a few hours away, him and wife have it. The Aunt very much at risk, other health issues.

I don’t know when they pushed the arrival date back to but I was sick with flu like symptoms in December before Christmas and again in the middle of January. For me it would be unheard of to be sick two times so close together. Then my wife got the worst “flu” she’s ever had in February. Whatever she had I was immune from, there’s no way we could keep from sharing it. She was off work for an entire week.
My mother was in the hospital with the “flu” right as they started shutting everything down. My dad had pinkeye and my brother was off work for a week all around the same time.
I remember a lingering dry cough for weeks after getting better in January. I’d like to think we all already had it but we may never know.

Back in December I had a "flu" so bad I thought about the "one way walk into the woods". Went to the doc and she said she doesn't know what it is, but it just has to run its course. Got better in about a week but had a dry cough off and on for several months. None of my family got it and I was happy to suffer alone. Praying for you and your family and co-workers. Gotta keep on keepin on.

I’m feeling much better today. Still an occasional headache but pretty good all in all. I’m not sure what it is about this virus but it really saps your energy. A couple of trips up the stairs wears me out.

As others note, I too way back in late '19 came down with something, docs said allergies. Went to an ENT and they ran tests on me, no allergies. Whatever it was was not fun, too early for Covid we are told but who really knows? I live in WA and that's where some of the earliest cases are from. I wonder. No one I know however has been effected by it, though another guy I know had what he called a really bad cold (worst ever) around February, may have been Covid.
As far as prosecuting people for not being compliant. I don't know. I just don't see how you can put people in jail for living their lives, especially when the morons that runs things are letting criminals out of jail BECAUSE of Covid! I think in many ways we have been too compliant already considering who it is that's giving the orders,, like some of the stupidest people in America!
Things need to change...
